We are conveniently located on US Route 1 in Northport, Maine, about 3 miles south of Belfast and 8 miles north of Camden.

This allows us to efficiently service customers who find it inconvenient to travel to either Ellsworth, Topsham, or Portland.

Phil Reid has been riding bikes since 1969 and started working as a mechanic in 1988, working on Vincents, Enfields, Triumphs, and other makes.

He worked for five years as a mechanic for a BWM/Ducati franchise and opened Reid's Cycle in Northport in 1998.

He also worked with the Hooters Suzuki Supersport Team on the pit crew.

As a business owner, his low overhead allows him to be extremely competitive in his pricing.

As a mechanic, Phil prides himself in his attention to detail and always rides the bike first to make sure it's running perfectly.

Word of mouth and his reputation are everything.

In addition to mechanical work, accessory and apparel sales, Reid's is a State Certified Motorcycle Inspection Station. Phil also offers motorcycle transportation in the shop's new, enclosed trailer (click the image at left for a larger view). Whether it is the annual scheduled trip to Daytona, or delivery of your bike or bikes to your desired location, you can rest assured that your ride will arrive safe, clean and ready to roll. We can also send a smaller vehicle package to retrieve your ride in the event of a breakdown or accident.
